On September 5th, 2024, PT Bina Tjahaja Pertiwi – Pertiwi-Consulting had the honor of participating in a pivotal coordination meeting organized by the DPMPTSP (Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu). This meeting, which focused on the topic of “Coordination Meeting Regarding Non-Profit Foundations,” was a follow-up to our recent correspondence titled “Request for Assistance and Guidance on Environmental Foundation Licensing,” addressed to the Governor of Bali.

The meeting was attended by the responsible officials from each relevant government department, including representatives from: Inspektorat Provinsi Bali; Dinas Sosial, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Provinsi Bali; Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Bali; Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Provinsi Bali; Dinas Kehutanan dan Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Bali; Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Provinsi Bali and Biro Hukum Setda Provinsi Bali. The discussions held during the session were highly productive and shed light on a gap in the existing guidelines for the registration of Foundations. It became apparent that, depending on the specific activities undertaken by a Foundation, additional permits from relevant authorities may be required to ensure full compliance.

As a result of this meeting, the Director of PT Bina Tjahaja Pertiwi – Pertiwi-Consulting is now even more confident in our capacity to offer expert guidance and consultation to clients operating Foundations.
